48: DFW CARE with Keren Wang

Dr. Riz and I interviewed Keren Wang about ten days ago as we picked up PPE’s (Personal Protective Equipment) from the DFW Care organization. This is a local Chinese American organization which self-organized within 24 hours as they feared the devastation that could take place in Dallas. Keren Wang is part of the DFW Care organization and works in the hospital assessment group. She has worked closely with Dr. Riz to assess his hospital needs. The organization has worked tirelessly since early March to support Dallas healthcare workers. The group will dismantle on Saturday, April 25 since Dallas was fortunate enough to not see such a huge spike in the covid-19 patients compared to other places in the country.
