Meet Dr. Irminne Van Dyken who resides in Maui, Hawaii. She is the first and only surgeon in Hawaii who is board certified in Lifestyle Medicine through the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She is on the board of the Vegetarian Society of Hawaii and lectures regularly.
Out of the Doldrums are fellow sailors and share a passion for sailing. Since 2016, Russell and Irminne Van Dyken have been advocates of living a plant-based life to the fullest. They currently live on Maui and advocate adventure, companionship and plant-based health. Dr. Van Dyken works as a surgeon on Maui. Russell is currently building their home and developing their 2 acre farm, where they plan to grow plenty of fruits and vegetable so they and others can live more sustainably.
