4. Every week, we post a podcast episode with a guest expert who speaks on plant-based nutrition and/or lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Rizwan H. Bukhari is a board-certified vascular surgeon in Dallas. He treats various vascular issues, including aneurysms, carotid artery stenosis, lower extremity arterial blockages, gangrene, dialysis access grafts, and varicose veins. He has a specific interest in minimally invasive procedures such as atherectomy, angioplasty, and stenting for limb salvage and amputation prevention.

In his 20+ years of practice, Dr. Bukhari has treated severe advanced atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. He has seen the ravaging effects of poor lifestyle choices on our health. Cardiovascular disease and its risk factors, such as obesity, tobacco use, hypertension, and diabetes, are largely acquired diseases secondary to the foods we eat and our lifestyle choices.

Our goal with this channel is to help you become excited about incorporating more plant-based foods into your diet and to give you tips on using lifestyle medicine to improve your health.
